Authenticity

Authenticity is a process

We do not ask you to take our word. Every piece comes with documents you can verify — and the right to independent expertise.

Chain of ownership

The origin of every fragment is recorded: where it came from, when and through whom. Provenance is given in the dossier.

Material and technique

Natural silk, weave and raised metallic-thread embroidery are described and photographed at macro scale.

Attribution and dossier

Dimensions, period, inscription and translation, condition — in a written dossier. Hypotheses are marked as hypotheses.

Independent expertise

You may have the piece examined by a historical-textile specialist. A negative opinion means a full refund.

Verification code and passport

Every piece has a unique code: enter it on the verification page or scan the QR in the passport to see the certificate number and status.

What the house certificate attests

The house certificate and an independent expert opinion are different documents. We issue the first; you may obtain the second from a specialist of your choice. If independent expertise refutes the stated authenticity, we refund the full price and the delivery cost.

How a purchase works

Eight steps from the first message to the handover. At every stage you see what is happening and may stop.

    Tell us for whom, the occasion, the city and the timing — on the site, in WhatsApp or in the assistant chat.

    Selection of 2–3 pieces

    We propose two or three options by budget, size and meaning of the inscription, priced in tenge with a USD reference.

    Dossier and photo/video

    We send the dossiers: dimensions, material, inscription and translation, provenance, condition, documents.

  4. 04

    Video or private viewing

    Video viewing for any city; private viewing in Astana by appointment.

  5. 05

    Order or contract

    Place an order on the site or sign a contract. The piece is reserved for you for 48 hours.

  6. 06

    Payment

    Kaspi transfer, bank transfer by invoice (contract and act for companies), payment on personal handover in Astana.

  7. 07

    Presentation

    Presentation case, bilingual story card (RU/KZ), engraved plaque on request, care instructions.

  8. 08

    Insured delivery or personal handover

    Astana and Almaty in 1–2 days; across Kazakhstan in 2–5 days, insured and included in the price; international by arrangement.

About the VAQAR house

VAQAR (Arabic وقار — “dignity, reverence”) is a Kazakhstani collection house of Islamic heritage.

We seek, select and preserve historical Kaaba Kiswa fragments for gifts of special respect, family heirlooms and private collections. Fragments come from recognised private collections in Saudi Arabia and are examined before entering the collection. Pieces are kept in Astana: private viewing by appointment, video viewing for any city.

Is this an original fragment of the Kaaba Kiswa?

Каждый экземпляр коллекции сопровождается сертификатом коллекционного дома VAQAR и документами происхождения. По данным коллекционного дома, фрагменты поступают из признанных частных коллекций Саудовской Аравии и проходят проверку перед включением в коллекцию. Вы вправе провести независимую экспертизу: если её заключение противоречит заявленной подлинности, мы вернём полную стоимость и компенсируем доставку.

How does a purchase work?

Бриф (сайт, WhatsApp или чат консультанта) → подборка 2–3 экземпляров → досье и фото/видео → видеопоказ или частный показ → заказ на сайте или договор → оплата → оформление (футляр, карточка истории RU/KZ) → страховая доставка или личная передача. После оформления заказа экземпляр резервируется за вами на 48 часов до оплаты.

Do you deliver across Kazakhstan and abroad?

Да. Астана и Алматы — курьер или личная передача за 1–2 дня. По Казахстану — застрахованная доставка за 2–5 дней, включена в стоимость. Международная доставка — по договорённости: застрахованная экспресс-служба, таможенные платежи — на стороне получателя. Самовывоз и личная передача в Астане — по записи.

Is it appropriate to keep a Kiswa fragment at home?

Фрагмент Кисвы — предмет наследия и уважения, а не объект поклонения. Его традиционно хранят и передают как памятную вещь, размещая достойно: в кабинете, гостиной или библиотеке, не на полу, не на кухне и не в санузле. Мы не приписываем фрагменту особых свойств. Если у вас есть сомнения, рекомендуем посоветоваться с квалифицированным исламским учёным.

How do I care for the fragment and where should it be kept?

Беречь от прямого солнца и влаги; поддерживать температуру 18–24 °C и влажность 40–55 %; не касаться ткани руками; раму протирать сухой мягкой тканью; раз в год осматривать состояние. Ароматные экземпляры в открытой раме — не распылять рядом парфюм и освежители. При переезде транспортировать вертикально в футляре. Инструкция по уходу прилагается к каждому экземпляру.

Do you work with legal entities?

Да. Для компаний и организаций — договор купли-продажи, счёт на оплату, акт приёма-передачи, по запросу — соглашение о конфиденциальности. Оплата банковским переводом по счёту. Возможна персонализация (гравировка логотипа, карточка с именем адресата) и доставка к дате события.
